The Fox in the Garden
As much as I enjoy brewing in the garage, I'm very lucky to have a decent sized garden. So we decided that we'd build a little garden house in the garden which will be used as a brew pub.
The work in progress name for the pub is The Fox in the Garden, but that may change,

December 2024
Electrics and installation date confirmed!
The electrics are in! Because I'll need a fair bit of electricity in the pub, (fermenters, lights, TV etc) the building needs its own breaker attached to the house circuit breaker. The electrician ran the cable around the outside of the garden perimeter and up to where the installation will happen.
14th January is the installation day!!
November 2024
The ground work
The ground has to be completely solid in order to install a garden room (or shed as it keeps getting called). So I was given two options:

a solid cement base
-
an extension to the patio
I opted for option 2. I didn't really like the idea of a solid lump of concrete just being dumped into garden and I thought a patio would look much nicer too.
The team came along, extended the patio, added a step in as well to ensure its all level. It's going to look great.
October 2024
I bought a shed!
I did it. After many months of debating (trying to convince myself to do it), I went, I selected the garden room and bought it. I bought a 12 x 10 room, with insulation, a rubber roof, inside and outside lights and a radiator.
